Katya Sanna è una cantante vocalista dotata di un estensione di quattro ottave, compositrice di melodie e armonie personali che spaziano da atmosfere elettroniche, etniche, ma anche romantiche e rarefatte. I testi dei suoi brani spesso sono ispirati da temi letterari, come la sua ricerca su fiabe, miti, leggende di tutto il mondo. Assolutamente unico poi è il suo modo di interpretare l'unione tra musica e parole stravolgendo le comuni regole della metrica e degli accenti, creando così sonorità inedite. Oltre a realizzare progetti da solista molte le collaborazioni con artisti dalla cultura diversa attraversando così molti generi: colonne sonore, jazz, musica antica, heavy metal, progetti multimediali di musica arte visiva e poesia. Autrice di poesie, racconti e della trilogia fantasy “Le Chant De L’Ange”. Diplomata all'Istituto d'Arte di Roma, impegnata come pittrice, decoratrice e ricamatrice, ha lavorato all’organizzazione di allestimenti di mostre di arte contemporanea, ha frequentato stage per costumista negli studi televisivi di RAI1, realizzato la grafica di LP e CD , ha studiato danza contemporanea, danza creativa, danza Araba, danza indiana Bharata Natyam e danze tradizionali israeliane, frequentato laboratori teatrali studiando mimo, recitazione, fonetica, dizione.

Katya Sanna is a vocalist endowed whit a range of four octave. She composes very personal melodies and harmonies wich mix a singing style characterized by an ancient flavour with arrangements wich sum up eletronic, ethnic, romantic, rarified atmospheres. The lyrics of Katya's song are often inspired by literary themes, for instance her long reserch on myths and legends from all the world. Her way of interpreting the combination of words with music is absolutely unique; she creates sonorities hitherto unknown by distorting the common rules of metre and stresses. Apart from her works as a vocalist, many collaborations with other artists who belong to different musical culture in order to get in touch with a lot of genres: soundtracks, jazz, ancient music, heavy-metal, multimedial art music and poetry project. Author of tales, poems and the fantasy trilogy “La Chant De L’ange”. Katya got her diploma in the Art-School of Rome, committed as paintress, decorator and embroideress, she attended stage of costume designer at Italian television studios of RAI1, she made the graphics projects of LP and CD. She studied contemporary dance, creative dance, Arabian dance, indian dance Bharata Natyam, Israeli folk dance and attended theatrical laboratories studying: mime, acting, dicting, phonetics.
